概要
本作「おみおくり〜Sending Off〜」は、在宅ケアを受けられるよう活動されている今田かおる先生と、彼女のチームの姿を追ったものである。日本の郊外で1年に渡り撮影を続け、季節を追うごとに家族との絆は深まるも、患者の最期の時は刻刻と迫ってくる。
Synopsis
“Sending Off” follows the patients of Dr. Konta Kaoru and her team of nurses as they receive medical care in their homes. Filmed over one year in rural Japan, the changing seasons provide a backdrop to the deepening relationships the patients form with their families as they reach the end of their lives.
